Isabelle is a neurodiversity-affirming therapist who recognizes the unique strengths of each of her clients. Her play-based approach to therapy incorporates sensory regulating strategies for an optimal learning environment. She is certified in Hanen’s More than Words program and is trained in the Natural Language Acquisition framework to provide effective therapy to gestalt language processors (children who use scripted language).

Our Philosophy

Isabelle treats a variety of speech and language disorders in children from ages 1-18, with specialized experience working with complex communicators.

She has worked with children with a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, rare genetic syndromes, Cerebral Palsy, developmental delay, and more. Isabelle specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations and therapy and has experience with a variety of communication applications across iPads/tablets, switch scanning, and eye-tracking technologies.

Isabelle earned a bachelor’s degree from UCLA in Communication Studies, a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in Communicative Disorders & Deaf Education, and a Master’s Degree from Boston University in Speech-Language Pathology. Prior to pursuing a career as a speech-language pathologist, Isabelle worked as an English teacher for preschool and elementary school students in Thailand.
